damn, this is the 8th "latin fury" ppv extravaganza featuring chavez jr,.....he needs to stop that bull**** and fight a live fighter, how can anybody buy that ****atsch
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl i had to re-read the title to see what you eant and i saw it... great minds think alike haha
i think it sucks that they show 85% of his fights on ppv when they should be making it easier for people to see how he is developing. he's not even a top contender and they want you to keep paying to see if he eventually will be. dumb ****.
I would NEVER pay for that ****. People are stupid if they pay to see Chavez fight.. I actually thought he was gonna be good but now I see why they have him on PPV.. They wanna make money off his name while they can before the first fighter with decent power knocks him out! Mark my words that's whats gonna happen.. Unless they keep putting him in there with bums and cab drivers.
If you're going to put it on PPV...at least make work with the pricing of it. I'm no expert of course but I think these things would sell a lot more if they were about 10 bucks cheaper than what they are (I BELIEVE they're about 30 bucks). In a way I kind of pity JCC Jr. Give him any other name and there's 140 posts on how so and so is ducking him and how he's the most underrated fighter today. Instead he's gotta try and follow in the footsteps of not just his dad but a 90s dominated by mexican legends like ODLH, MAB and El Terrible to name just a few.
If you're a big Chavez fan or just want more boxing, this isn't bad. Why get all mad? As long as these fights of his aren't taking up HBO fight space, then what's the ****in prob?
I think the issue Lance is people WANT to see JCC Jr fights taking up HBO or Showtime or FNF space. He's the son of a legend and he's got a lot of raw tools, I think a lot of people want to see his progression (although I'm sure some want to see him fail more than succeed). Instead of seeing him on FNF where you he can be showcased, His fights are more or less hidden on Pay Per View. Sure people are obviously gonna buy it which is great but at this point in his career, you'd kind of hope he'd be showcased a bit more where he can be seen.
