So there's a rematch clause for AJ and Dubois, does it happen? Can AJ win? It was total domination tonight. I'd like to see AJ retire now but if he does continue surely it's rematch or nothing.
Pathetic. No one wants to see a rematch. A rematch means a 3rd fight should take place if AJ wins. How do you have a rematch as a challenger?
Time to call it a day. Joshua didnt look focused enough to compete tonight or in a rematch. I dont even blame ben davidson for tonights defeat. Joshua froze then fell apart. His mindsets all over the place never really recovered from defeat and probably never quite recovered from klitchko,s right hand. He also falls apart for too long after being hurt...he always has. I think everyone probably deserves one last chance to find out for themselves if its over or not but the advise to him should be to call time and go enjoy the rest of his life. Needs to delete hearn from his phone asap. Joshua doesnt have great self confidence in himself he never has imo most of it a front. Hearn sharp enough to know it. Hearn continues to talk joshua up as a warrior etc that wants to fight. Gives a guy that lacks confidence belief.....the guy that lacks confidence wants to reward the guy that gives him it. Anyone already trying to get joshua back in a ring after tonight is not his friend. Joshua need to be left without influence to come to his own conclusion. That conclusion should be to call time and go enjoy the rest of his life essentially that should be his and only his call tho.
Joshua was in the equivalent of a really bad car accident after today multiple concussions + whatever from the sparring leading up to the fight + all the damage from all the other fights and years of gym wars. He's on his way to slurring his words soon he either must retire or never fight another puncher again.
Ajs last 3 opponents were Helenius, Wallim and Ngannou. Dubois had Usyk, Miller and Hrgovic...... That showed in the ring If AJ wants to get battered again then I guess ok I am personally sick of these rematch clauses you got beat why have to run it again
Guy here is spot on , 1 guy was prepared because he had the hard fights to get to a stage like this , the other had a few results to kid the public on.
They'd be crazy to invoke a rematch clause straight away. That was a brutal beat down, not a near run thing like Hearn will try and convince the public. They'd be better off trying to set up the Wilder fight.
Not a chance he is taking the rematch clause. Nor should he. My guess is AJ Fury happens and they both retire after
Joshua's punch resistance will be shaky for a long time if not permanently after that. If they do have a rematch I don't think he will get up so many times and the only reason he survived so long was the bell saved him a few times.
Of course Eddie has his Re-matchroom clauses in place. Be the same one sided outcome if it happened again
