Regardless of the clause or not hopefully the IBF steps in and tells Joshua to get fcuked with his rematch clause. It would be ludicrous to give Joshua a second voluntary shot in a row after suffering such a one sided beating.

It doesn't sound like there is a rematch clause though.

Hearn mentioned later that Joshua is contracted to another fight with Riyadh Season. Not necessarily with Dubois.

Given the way the Saudis have done things so far, you'd expect to see Joshua face someone who has been defeated recently - like Zhang or Wilder instead in "rebuild" mode. Or Fury if Usyk wins again.

Dubois deserves to defend his title next as the A side versus one of Parker or Kabayel.

Is this actually confirmed? How can Joshua have a rematch clause when he's the challenger and has no leverage? What's he going to do if Dubois says no? Doesn't even make sense.

AJ v Wilder next. AJ should win and then watch Hearn try to convince everyone that he is back and will wipe out the heavyweight division. Zzzzzzzzzzz

Can’t wait for Joshua to beat Gerald Washington in his next fight and Hearn to declare he’s back and the best in the world.

I would be pleased to watch the rematch.

Always said that any decent puncher throwing leather will destroy Joshua and Dubois will do the same again.

Joshua never had much punch resistance as evidenced in the Whyte fight 9 years ago.

Old Klitschko at 41 years of age showed it again when he was all over the place fighting the old man.

Ruiz Jnr highlighted a bigger problem in that even mediocre power punches landing resulted in him completely falling apart - he unravelled at the Under Armour seams.

Last night is no major shock to me given DDD's power and the context above - the only question before the fight was who would have the balls to go for it first given both have form for crumbling.

Credit to DDD for overcoming adversity in his previous 2 very hard fights and this has helped him build confidence to walk through Joshua's so called power.

I've seen 2 stories, one says he has retired, another says he's doing the rematch.

    Guess AJ must have concussion

Klitschko must be kicking himself he could have pressed and ended AJ then and there but he backed off

I'm not a fighter or a boxer so this is from a pot bellied arm chaired "expert" but he had him on the ropes, gassed and he was ready to go if there was any a time to not listen to your trainer and go off your own instincts it was this

I get the feeling its because hearn wants to take fury in a cash out fight because he knows dubois has joshuas number.

A decent move tbf. But surely the rematch is there if he wants it. Dubois wont be making that sort of money against anyone else.....a fight he just won by demolition.
