ROFLMAO !! That is what the CSAC woefully tried to claim was Plaster. All it is is a used damp soft gauze pad perfectly harmless to any opponent. I guess the red stain on was supposed to be opponents blood huh ROFL The CSAC were made to look like idiots when the independant lab tested the pad Microscopically & indeed found traces of calcium & sulphur on it . Trouble was the minute amounts found were compatible to the amounts in human sweat NOT plaster. From then on the Csac went silent But the damage had been done an innocent mans career & good name tarnished by what started as a blatant LIE by a person noted for complaining about opponents wraps. & absolute incompetance by the CSAC. They are the ones shold have been banned
Anybody help out with what the image was of? Entering the URL just gives me a 404 "you suck" message...
Also, as regards plaster of Paris, this link* takes one to a page about Dempsey vs Willard and the supposed loaded gloves in that fight. In the middle of this is an article from an old Boxing Illustrated mag where Cleveland Williams and his corner attempt to use plaster of Paris in boxing gloves to see if they can replicate the way Dempsey's one time manager claimed he loaded Dempsey's gloves for the Willard fight. I dunno if this method is how it is thought that the Margarito corner is supposed to have loaded his gloves or not. Interesting read I thought *http://coxscorner.tripod.com/dempsey_gloves.html
OK, appreciate that. Figures that I JUST saw the same picture about 3 mins ago while trying to find the link to an article I read a VERY long time ago, which I just shared in this thread
