Look at what the sport is turning into ! A dam circus act with people trying to get an edge every possible way but it keeps backfiring on those who try to cheat themselves as well as the sport !

Its time to really revamp the sport ..

    Stricter drug testing

    Same day weigh ins

Go back to the original 8 divisions

Discipline is so lacking and the sport just enables these type of actions !

The games has gone backwards as oppose to going forward !

I would settle for strict testing. PEDs are messing the sport up.

I said this **** years ago this is the steroid age. Why now are people now finally starting to see the light. I've known about this **** for years I have friends who are track n field coaches and they used to laugh at boxings lax testing.

When Mayweather initially started getting pissy about all this crap, I thought it was just a matter of getting an excuse and casting a shadow over a potential dangerous opponent.

Now, after the past few weeks, I'm fully in his corner. Randomized Olympic-style drugs testing is the only way to go for title fighs.

All these so called new advancements have watered down the sport ...This is why boxers careers are really shortened ..

Calm down, dude you did not have a crystal ball. Steroids were never a factor becuase back then there were no advantages to gain as far as boxing is concerned.

Thanks to recent improvements, there are some benefits to be gained hence the rise in usage.

i agree boxing needs fixing but 8 weights and same day weigh ins arent fixing it

i think either very harsh penaltys for cheaters or they should legalize it, we shouldnt sit on the fence and claim to be tough on roids but then be soft

i admit too many weights, i say remove some of those little weights separated by 4 pounds, like is it really that dangerous to go from 122 to 126 or 118 to 122, no it isnt

i have no problem with day b4 weigh ins

maybe they can have a limit on what you can weigh, like you cant weigh a certain amount under your weight maybe the night of the fight say your 140 you cant be over 154

what boxing may need is a way to just make the fights happen

UFC does it boxing needs to just make the best fights and needs to have contenders face off rather than form a line and wait their turn to get a title shot

The facts are the PED use continues to increase across all sports.

IMO stop testing altogether it is useless to fight it. Much like legalizing weed. Stop acting like you can stop it and let it be.

yeah, when you think about it, its really gone backward, while every other professional sport has advanced in every way.
