So this is the guy you're so sure would have beaten Bowe?

Yeah Lewis would've won but Bowe came in overweight against Golota. Did better the second fight with the jab even dropped Golota before getting low blowed, it was Golota's infighting if anything troubled Bowe, Larry Donald was better than Golota on the outside

you can't **** with this...i mean maybe peak bowe could beat peak lewis on some fantasy night, but they were peers and records of achievement of both guys is what it is and no matter how good peak bowe eye test is, it's not enough to overcome what actually took place in their respective careers

Either guy COULD win but I'd favor Lewis, he had a MUCH deeper resume. Bowe had poor defense and never faced a top tier puncher. It's a shame this fight never happened, it would have been a classic.

He did and beat him, while proposing a rematch Bowe dumped a belt.

They were both shot but iirc in 96' when the fight could have happened Tyson ducked him by vacatin' a belt.

Everyone knows how a punch can make a difference in those weight classes and their punches, like someone explained better than me in the thread, weren't no joke. The first L was pre-Steward while in the second he didn't train properly nor acclimatize enough. Excuses or not, he successfully avenged both the losses.
