Certainly not hard enough to make this thread anything other than absurd. I mean Fury does have potential routes to victory against Lewis but a single punch KO is not one of them...

Holyfield (much smaller), Tyson (shot), Vitali (Lennox behind on the cards, lucky ref let him foul, Lennox was afraid of a rematch and retired), Tua (limited, schooled by Bryd), Mercer (Mercer deserved to win but was robbed), Golota (mentally weak man, glass chin), Briggs (never was any good), Bruno (fringe contender), Rahman (who KOed him in the first fight), Morrison (already faded, looked awful, may have had serious health problems by then), Grant (poor Grant, very chinny guy), Tucker (old), Botha (limited and much smaller) and Ruddock (fringe contender).

Lennox would have Fury claiming he's the Jamaican King inside the distance, no question for me.

Fury at his worst was put on his backside by Cunningham, most had losing to McDermott, and his biggest highlight punch is the one he managed to chin himself with. Oh, and barely squeezing past the mighty Otto Wallin. Since TS posted Lennox at his worst, these seem appropriate to note.

Wow, if that is what you think then if I were a Fury fan, I'd be terrified of how gutted and outright terrible his resume must look.

To be fair to Lewis at least he did have the stones to step up to CW Level (Evan Fields) and Gypsy Level (Chanet).

I like Fury a lot but it’s sad to see biased people pick apart Lennox’s resume. Which is the best at HW in quite some time.

Hollyfield - short? So what? so was Fraser and Tyson. Evander is one of greatest HWs of all time.

Tyson- declined but not shot. Went in the Lewis fight having beaten Botha and Golota. Wasnt shot untill 2 years later.

Vitalli - Lewis still caused a dreadful cut that was rightfully stopped.

Tua - went into the fight with Lewis with only 1 lose. Having stopped an unddefeated Rahman and KOing Ruiz in 1st round. Tua after his lose to Lewis went onto KO Moorer in the 1st round.

Mercer - I had Lewis winning it by 2 points in a good fight.

Golota - was beating Bowe in both fights before being DQ.

Briggs - was just coming off beating a past his prime Foreman but who had beaten an undefeated Moorer to become the oldest WC.

Bruno - after after losing to Lewis, Bruno went on to become a WC.

Rahman - Lewis avenged his lose.

Morrison - Morrison was 26 and 4 years younger than Lewis. Morrison went into this fight having just beaten Ruddock.

Grant - very similar to Wilder, had a lot power but glass chin. Grant was going into this fight 31-0 having just beaten Golota.

Tucker - Tucker was going into the fight with only 1 lose and had beaten McCall less than a year prior.

Botha - coming off a draw against Briggs. Lewis beat Botha in a more impressive manor than Tyson did.

Ruddock - coming off wins against Jackson and Page and going the distance with Tyson.

So the point of this thread is what ? To denigrate to the point of abuse a fine Champion so somebody can win a playground argument about a fight that never happened, cannot and will not happen.
I know we're not getting out much at the moment guys but this is poor by any standard.

"'Lewis resume of notable wins: Hollyfield, Tyson, Vitali, Tua, Mercer, Golota, Briggs, Bruno,Rahman, Morrison, Grant, Tucker, Botha and Ruddock.''

Holyfied > Cruiser who got stopped by an ex MW and was apparently worried after sparring a young Andy Ruiz.
Tyson > Shot to piece! Compare his movement to the Holmes fight, it's like watching a completely different fighter.
Vitali > Good win, but was getting beaten up badly.
Tua > Guinness World Record for the shortest reach at HW. Size difference is comical!
    Mercer > Old
Golota > Utter mental case with highlight real mental antics in multiple fights
    Briggs > Hilarious
    Bruno > Severely limited
    Rahman > KO'd Lewis!
Morrison > Dangerous fighter, decent win
    Grant/Tucker > Ok
    Botha > Yeah
Ruddock > Ok - but the most interesting thing here is that Lewis weighed 227lbs for that fight. At probably only 6'4 and with fights at 227, it suggests he's significantly smaller than Fury. Fighting HW midgets made Lewis look huge but Fury might actually be quite a bit bigger and be able to manhandle Lewis in there as well as out skill and outlast him.

Fury outboxes Lewis early, avoids the power, when Lewis slows Fury turns it up and TKO's him with a lucky punch.

There’s certainly a chance Fury wins but it’s just sad to try and downplay Lennox’s resume like this.

It'd be really interesting to see the Fury that just tries to win on points like in the Wlad fight against the top HW's in history. It's not common to see a guy that big do that.

Lennox Lewis would destroy Tyson Fury and his brothers at the same time 100/100 times.
