So this ref that was just KO'd and then beat up whilst lying on the floor...

not sure how stoppages work in the amateurs but that looked shady!!!!! a ref should never get attacked like that either way.

 

Real easy to say and normally I'd agree but I'd be careful as the other boxer. He could've had his record/license taken because of the fight if they go at it, the video would be a black mark on his record. As much as we'd like to say people and the authorities would watch the video and not go after him, its usually everyone involved in such a fight that'll get flak from it. I might've gotten out of the way too, there were other people jumping in to help him and I wouldn't want the risk. Maybe that's selfish, and I probably would've jumped him myself, but hindsight is 20/20 and thats how I'm seeing it.

yeah but especially that last count was not warranted! not making excuses for the beatdown the ref got but damn, the stoppage was shady as hell!!

This was European youth championship and trainer told the kid to get the **** out there and to stay out of trouble. Its kinda rational thing to do, but I think it was bad example to put some competition over other person health. Of course another thing is that everything happened very fast and very unexpected, so its harder to make good decisions in the heat of the moment... That red guy was ****ing sneaky
