So this was the prime PacMan who was going to beat JMM?

I wasn't too impressed. JMM beat him more convincingly than in their second fight, yet was robbed by the incompetent and/or corrupt judges. JMM would have had to knockout PacMan just to get a draw in their last fight. Anyhow, from what I saw last night:

    • PacMan's right hand was none existent.
    • PacMan did not appear to want to engage JMM and get countered.
    • PacMan's body and facial expressions did not look like a fighter who knew he won the fight.
    • PacMan never looked to comfortable in the ring last night for whatever reason.
    • Even Roach was telling him he was going to have to pick it up.
    • That fat Filipino who is always in his corner went to the whip pretty early. I don't understand Tagalog, but his voice had a sense of urgency when he was giving PacMan instructions in the corner.
Oh well, I'm satisfied with the knowledge that JMM put on one hell of a performance and he knows he won. Kudos to the old warrior and showing all of his detractors how it's done.

really don't think Pacquiao is still in his prime. Guy has been a pro since he's 16 and has fought like 60 fights.

+ I think he's lost his hunger for the sport.

    Peaked in 2009 imo.

Pac is past his prime, I would say it has been 2 years since his prime ended.

So Pac is past his prime? Fine.

JMM is also past his prime, 38 years old AND about 3 weight divisions above his prime weight, and WON last night. :deal

Pac is already shot, hell he was shot against Margarito and Cotto, this just proves how great he truly is.

As opposed to the 38 year old but prime JMM:lol:

And screw this BS about PAC losing his hunger. He came into that ring with
the purpose of KOing JMM and went so far as to say this was one of his best camps ever as well as claiming this was his most important fight.

You *******s suffer greatly from foot-in-mouth disease!

    LOL at the trolls.

Both fighters are past their primes and both are fighting above their best weight. That being said, Pac won 116-112.

JMM deserves all the credit in the world for that performance.. I had him winning but it was very close...again. it wasn't a robbery but I felt Juan edged out the "W" over Pac. Stylistically JMM is to Pac as Norton was to Ali. I'd love to see a 4th fight to see if these two can finally get a clear cut victory without anothe contraversial ending. All three fights have been very close and all had contraversy tied to the decision.

JMM won the first two fights for me and no one will ever convince me otherwise, and last night was clearer cut than both of those.

Disgraceful night for Boxing yet again.
