He seems sincere in this interview. I do believe now he really was sick. He also says he wants to fight Parker.

I'm going to make a bold prediction and say that Dubois has peaked as a boxer and it's all down here from here for him career wise.

I don't think his heart is in it anymore and he is trying to talk it back into the game. I think the Joshua win was everything he wanted and he has achieved that now. Which contributed to his pullout of the Parker fight.

I could very well look like an idiot if he goes out there and blasts Usyk though.

I don’t know he looks pissed off to me. He really should fight Parker in June. Then Usyk later in the year. If he wins that is.

He wants to fight in England.

Interesting. Perhaps he needs a home referee to permit him to headbutt and low blow? Or maybe in his home country he can get away with PED use like Fury did?

He should man up and fight Joe Parker in Saudi Arabia or New Zealand.

In the video they talk about him getting sick before. Apparently it’s not the first time it happened. Reading between the lines I think it’s because he travelled on too short notice to a country with a completely different climate in a different time zone. Andy Lee alluded to that being the case as well.

He can't do no more than he has

You genuinely think he doesn't want to fight Parker?

Not without his home referee and his PEDs.

I take him at his word. I think people are reading too far between the lines. People get sick. That happens. And if Dubois went forward not his best and lost then it'd be written off as an excuse.

    Yes - he got sick

And yes - it looks bad and has hurt his rep kinda badly

I think he should rematch Parker

In 10 years no one will remember or care. It'll be obscure trivia. If Dubois had lost to Parker because he wasn't feeling well it'd be on his record forever. Just look at Ali v Foreman.
