So Tyson eats Ali's ear, how does Ali react ?

He shouts out " I am still the greatest …. even without my ear !! "

 

Ali's fighting style pretty much eliminated that from happening(same with Holyfield at or close to prime) But God only knows lol

 

Well, Ali was not a notorious PED enhanced head butter...........if in doubt check out the Rahman match.....that should have been a no contest or DQ because the head butts were that blatant.

 

Well, either Ali keeps it clean and carries himself with dignity like he did when some opponents tried to rabbit punch hin and he kept his cool.

Or,

Ali does what he did to wepner and Terrel. The gap in tysons teeth become even worse as ali splits tyson's lips with angry flurries and humiliates him in a gory brawl. Intentionally trying to make ali mad or doing something egregious never ends well. Tyson would be covered in bruises and blood and stopped within 6.

 

Cassius Clay retaliates by torturing him like he did Terrell, repeatedly yelling "What's my name?" at Tyson, knowing full well that Tyson could never pronounce "Cassius" if his life depended on it.

 

Ali would be pissed and his combinations would be flying with venom. Sting like a bee would turn into bite like a cobra.

 

Guys as vain as Ali probably don’t do too well when they’ve been maimed, and Ali would already be somewhat intimidated by Tyson (like had had been against Liston). I think he’d unravel. But Dundee would jump in the ring first, yell at the ref, and declare a dq victory for his fighter.

 

People thought he was raging at Liston due to fear. But there are reports of him getting excited & calming on a dime, I think once with a wink.
Where are the indications that Ali was scared of Liston? Maybe when Liston pulled a gun on him at that casino.
Liston was intimidated by Ali's craziness.
He already fought through being blinded in a couple rounds with Liston.
Vain does not mean weak.

 

Ali-Liston is another one of those episodes in boxing where there have been so many after-the-fact stories and claims that I'd have to dig back through a lot of sources to figure out what's real and what isn't. But I could have sworn that Ali himself admitted that he had been scared of Liston.

I see Ali becoming distraught over not being so pretty anymore and wilting more easily than I see him transforming into some Incredible Hulk/Wolverine character who flips a switch and instantly mauls Tyson, like most people in this thread seem to imagine. It's all speculative though.

 

I am still amazed Mike Tyson was allowed to fight again.

 

Ali would punish Tyson and make his face resemble a butcher's block before leaving him reeling around the ring like an old drunk.......

 

How would that be possible? It'll be an instant DQ.

 

Ali intimidated by lisp afflicted Tyson after he fought and beat the biggest scariest punchers in his division? Even if Ali says liston intimidated him, he clearly overcame whatever anxiety he had when he stood over him and called him a bum and to get up and fight. Its literally the most iconic and famous moment in boxing history. But you think ali would be scared of tyson? Ok.
