Yeah. Some guys just stay that way. Like some boxers will never look ripped, no matter how hard they train and starve. I forgot to mention his cardio. It is pretty amazing. I think most people that enjoy the technicalities of MMA would appreciate boxing and very much vice versa.
I gotta say, I really enjoyed the thread someone linked to, earlier in this thread. Poster 1: "Those UFC guys might hate laying on top of each other, and getting suffocated by a guy's ass and crotch, and holding each other in gay positions. They do it for money. Like porn actors." Poster 2: "What about amateurs? And the ones who are paid a few measly bucks per fight?" Poster 3: "They do it mostly for the ****." Anyway, UFC is great but for lots of reasons I don't think boxing's got anything to worry about just yet.
I like MMA, and first saw some UFC fights sometime around 01/02. I liked it ever since and have paid for at least as many UFC events as I have boxing. I'm not sure what I like more as both can be very good. OTOH, both can be rather ****. Have no idea if MMA will take over boxing either, personally I can't see why they can't live together.
I've been flat out with other commitments and it became a chore. I should be back on it as soon as I can get some time off work.
