I doubt it. There aren't any good opponents left. Thurman is not going to fight Berto, Porter, Guerrero, or Maidana. Abregu, Rios, Alvarado and Bradley are with TR. Don't know who can really give him a good fight for that day :think

Because Thurman's KO ratio doesn't meet Khan and his team's primal requirement.

Maidana offered to turn down the payday against Mayweather and rematch Khan, something Khan would never in a million years do. What was Khan's response?, "I have bigger fish to fry". Turns out he was frying Collazo on Maidana's undercard.

Because being a forced part-time boxer to avoid getting sparked by anyone random isn't getting you a major shot.

Because Thurman is the more dangerous fight.
Khan can kiss the Floyd fight goodbye if he gets KO'd before May.
The Brook fight would probably still be there, but would the UK really give a f*ck about it after One Time puts his fist through the back of Khan's skull?

The morons can bang on endlessly about Thurman not "earning" it or being an accomplished fighter, but resumes don't get in the ring.
The fact of the matter is Khan would end up on Thurman's highlight reel.
