I just don't believe in accusing a guy with no evidence. . . There's absolutely NO evidence to suggest otherwise. . . Unless you count what Roger says. . But it's like I've always said - a guy with more eyeballs than teeth rarely has anything useful to say.

My belief doesn't come from Roger or Sr. I think he is/was hiding something.

In a post Mark McGuire era in sports, there is 0 reason why any athlete should refuse a drug test.

Show me the proof that Pac is a drug addict! Pac has never tested for roids.

Roid Jones did test positive for roids in Indiana, I remember reading about it.

Hall had 6 times the normal testosterone level and RJJ's had 10 times the normal testosterone level when tested from what I remember.

    from Jones' wikipedia page

    interesting

    ///

2000 began with Jones easily beating the hard-punching David Telesco via a 12 round decision on January 15, at Radio City Music Hall to retain his titles. ..
His next fight was also a first-time boxing event for a venue, as he traveled to Indianapolis and retained his title with an 11-round technical knockout over Richard Hall at the Conseco Fieldhouse.
A post-fight drug test showed that both Jones and Hall tested positive for androstenedione which was available legally over-the-counter at that time but banned by the IBF. The results of Jones' next two drug tests, which were negative, were sent to the Indiana Boxing Commission. The IBF chose not to take any action against Jones or Hall.
Jones ended the year with a 10-round stoppage of undefeated Eric Harding in New Orleans.

Um, no, not really. Those circumstances are (were) standard excuses. His camp also tried to blame it on a nasal spray which is another standard excuse. We've heard it all before.

People don't admit they cheated, they try to get away with it even when caught. The excuses can get pretty funny. For example, one athlete got her ex husband to admit he doped her to get revenge for her breaking up (only for her to get caught again a little later). Another guy said someone had put something in his tooth paste. People just don't admit it.

McGwire, Bonds, Sosa, Clemens, Marion Jones, Cyclists, Swimmers, Football players, heck even High school kids, wrestlers, mma ... yet nobody in boxing does it when fighters have to gain every advantage they can because let's face it, you can at least make in the 6 figures in other sports for sitting on the bench. How much was Ansel Moreno making? $200 / wk. Boxers don't exactly have high morals.

Not just him: Mosley was on the juice against De La Hoya. James Toney as well (against Ruiz). It's kinda ridiculous that these guys are allowed to retain an ublemished "legend" status. I can't see how they are any better than Margarito, really. Roy seemed a physical superman in his prime - but how much of that was down to drugs?

BTW. I agree that the accusations against Pacquiao are a bit ott. He MIGHT be on something but there is not one shred of hard evidence. In fact, it is no less likely that Floyd himself could be on the juice - his schedule of only fighting around once a year would certainly make it easy for him to benefit from various kinds of doping while he is "off" and carry that benefit into his fights with ample time for the drugs to clear his system before he even risks being tested. "Random" style testing only works if it's all the time around the year - but if it's only done in a designated period where boxers are training for a fight. Not saying Floyd is on anything, just saying you could call him out on it with as much justification as Pacquiao.

Do a search for General Zod's thread on the steroid matter. The guy owns everyone who tries to defend Jones.

People need to stop peddling this recycled rip fuel bull****.

jacob hall is the man who conducted the testing on roy jones for indiana state. the only person whose view on this topic is valid and reliable is jacob hall.

nothing from roy jones camp or anything written by any journalist has a 100th of the credibility as jacob hall on this matter.

these are the facts on what happenned

    - indiana state were the 1st state to pilot anabolic steroid testing in america in the year 2000 ( to evaluate the costs involved and to assess the practicallity of introducing testing nation wide)

    - jones believed that he was being tested for stimulants and not steroids

    - from the 1st urine sample given roy jones was found to have 6 times the expected amount of testosterone in his system

    - jacob hall who took the test stated that there was never any proof that roy took ripped fuel. that was a line / excuse that roys attorney released 4 weeks after roy was found to have 6 times the normal level of testosterone in his body.

    - jacob hall sent 2 further request for roy to have a 2nd test taken, to further split down what steroids had caused roy to have 6 times the normal amount of testosterone in his body

    - roy jones ignored both requests for further testing

    - jacob hall wanted to take action against jones but in the year 2000 anabolic steroid tests in boxing were not mandatory in fights that took place in america, therefore there was no law in place at that time for indiana state to convict roy jones for the failed test.

    - note this was the very 1st time in roys professional career that he was ever tested for steroids

    - steroid testing was not introduced nation wide in america on a mandatory basis untill the year 2002

Have a read of General Zod's fantastic thread on the topic
