Dawson did.. he put his foot in his mouth and called out Ward at 168 after comming of a good win/ winning his title back.. WTF was he thinking.. Now his team put him in a so so situation... Oakland in Sept is rough.... I will be in attendace for my Birthday so no complaints here.. Vegas would have been cool too... Im just happy to be going.. Glad Boxing is back in the Bay Area..!

Bruh I respect your usual knowledge you bring to the table but this comment is off.. Way off.. If you know anything about California.. Bay Area folks don't give 2 shits about So. Cal and vice versa.. There will be enough folks to fill Oracle Arena.. We saw Ward in LA at the Home Depot nobody was there.. So Cal doesn't support Northern Cal.. and vice versa..

Ward is building a local following like Robert Gurrero.. who is fighting in San Jose July 28.. Hopefully Nonito Donaire follows suit and stars fighting in the Bay Area... Tons of of supports here in the Bay For all 3 fighters..

Im not knocking Ward Fighting at home.. (would i like the Judging to be better in Oakland... Sure..) But Boxing is back in the Bay...!

this fight would draw an easy 10k in Germany. The Euros love American boxers, and a controversial decision would not be a factor as neither is a Euro. Ward and Dawson need better businessmen running their careers. Getting either of these two to fight in, and become comfortable in Europe could lead to a rematch, for example, in Europe for Ward vs Froch in the UK, where Ward would make Millions compared to the pennies they will scrap up in jokeland. A Dawson win could also set him up with Kessler. Again, we are talking MIllions of Euros. Chad or Andre (sorry for the coward comment) GIVE ME A CALL!! OMG!

I wouldnt say that when you consider on the details I gave you. Lacy, McClellan and Bute were favourites.
2 judges had Froch/Ward only 2 points ahead for Ward and Kessler was beaten by an injury when butted. Yes Kessler was losing but until the final bell goes you can never say. Remember Chavez/Taylor or Froch/Taylor. If those fights had been stopped on injury a round earlier, nobody would have predicted those KOs
