I think they where right back then. I just think that Mosley comes from such athletic stock that even if he has faded a long way from his prime he is still better than a lot of these other guys. That and he isn't in an incredible welterweight scene that can really make him look his age.

As a Mosley fan if I had to give him a number of shotness on your scale...4? 3.5? Something like.

Uncle Rico said it perfectly. Mosley is several years past being an elite fighter. We were just all bamboozled by the Margarito fight. If you take it out of the equation, you have someone who has been about a B+ level fighter since for the last five years.

it dosnt really matter if he was shot or not ...

when mayweather beat him he was coming of a big big win against a then monstrous margarito (handwraps aside)

was the man at welterweight, p4p number 3(or 4), and a welterweight champ... plus he was the man everyone was calling mayweather to fight. If mayweather didnt fight him he would be accused of ducking him

now mosley is coming off a bad loss to mayweather and a draw with mora, not the same

he probably was shot when mayweather fought him... just like he is shot now

to be honest the margarito fight wasnt that great of a win when you break it down with all the factors

and he scraped past mayorga, lost to cotto...

but still was the fight mayweather had to take and the biggest one apart from pac he could take at the time

definitely blood drained and assured that he did not took any meds before fight
... it would be bad for Floyd and his fans to admit that Floyd was almost out
by a shot fighter and his legs was looking like made from a rubber.

I had predicted before Floyd vs Mosley was made that Berto would beat Mosley. They were supposed to fight but Berto who is advised by Al Haymon pulled out and then Mayweather who is also advised by Al Haymon stepped in instead

For my money, Al Haymon told Berto to step aside, so Floyd could step in. Mosley agreed because he made about 5 times more money.

Nothing to do with the natural disaster that happened before the proposed bout then? :huh

Maybe not quite shot but over matched at the level of
competition he is facing right now assuming his late age.
Being past prime and shot is not the same.

If he would be shot then why FLoyd didnt knocked him out?

If Berto and Mosley signed a contract to fight, then Berto can't just pull out because his cousins and friends are affected by the earthquake. He has a signed contract that he has to fight.

He could have fought, made millions of dollars, and used that money to help the people in Haiti and his family.

Come on man, if you lose half your family and friends, a boxingmatch is the last thing on your mind.

David haye also had a signed contract and pulled out because of a back injury with no medical proof when in reality it was because of SETANTA going bust.

lol, Philla. There are circumstances which can allow a fighter to pull out of an agreed bout. A natural disaster which involves family members, is one of them.

if his opponent is arguably the #1/2 P4P and future ATG then it is shame that shot fighter is not knocked out
