Brook won by limiting the action, getting his shots off quick and first and stopping the return fire.

Keith won by inviting Porter to fire and landing clean counters, he didn't stop the action, he invited it. Keith took far more chances to win (when he could've won a boring fight just pot shotting and moving, Kell couldn't have won the way Keith did)

    Keith's win was more impressive

Kell is a giant WW and is probably physically stronger than Keith

This fight was way more entertaining i give you that. But Brook still did a better job against Porter. You could make a case for Porter winning this fight. I guess this forum is full with Khan fans or people who hate UK boxers

Brook took less damage, Thurman was more exciting. Both fought the fight they needed to to beat Porter and both were frustrated and made to work hard.

Brook v Thurman is the fight at WW, for me. Brook is the bigger, stronger fighter and a little more nuanced. Thurman is quicker and more explosive and has much quicker feet. The foot speed could be the deciding factor for me. Brook maybe stronger, but if his slow feet can't get him close to Thruman then it will count for nothing.

Porter was 10x better than he was in past fights. I had Thurman ahead because I don't favor Porter's style. I like clean accurate punches and good skills. Porter is sloppy and fights like a lineman rather than a boxer. Terrible footwork. It takes him at least 10 clean punches to hurt Thurman which is either a testament to Thurman's chin or reflects of Porter's power.

Also, Brook and Thurman are two different fighters. Neither of them are going to be bum rushing like Porter does if they fight each other.

Porter has always wanted a rematch with Brook, the Thurman fight was a better fight for Porter because Thurman wasn't trying to contain him by holding. The fight developed properly and the skills of both fighters was on display. One thing about fighters is that they want to fight and that's what Porter and Thurman did. Porter and Brook was a struggle/ Nothing exciting about re-matching a guy when you know all he is going to do is hold and wrestle.

Actually, no one has beaten Porter clearly. Brook owes Showtime a rematch as much as Thurman does.

Keith looked great last night. He took the risk of limiting his jab output in an effort to have Porter rush into counter punches. He was smart enough to know that stiff, classic jabs would open him up to Porter's attack do to his almost ludicrous lateral movement and ability to cut the disctance. Someone on the forum called Porter a "cannonball", and that couldn't be closer to reality. Porter was downright terrifying as far as his agility and variety of ring cutting options. He took leather coming in, so he has much room for improvement, but there's no denying that both these guys were at a different level last night.

It makes Thurman's performance all the more impressive.
