I've been fairly amazed at all the bad press FR has been getting around here lately. So he's gone "Hollywood," so what?

Some say "anyone could have trained Pacman" and various other silliness, well ok, but-

After Amir's spectacular tactical performance today, has Roach not proven himself beyond a shadow of a doubt?

Roach and Ariza are the best tandem in the sport in terms of taking a fighter to the next level. If you got talent and work ethic Roach and Ariza will make you a superstar.

Freddie Roach is respected by those who count, as probably the best coach around today. Results are in his main fighters improvements over these past few years, Khan and Pac. Those who try to discredit him, are mainly Pac haters and Mayweather fanboys

I don't need this fight to tell me how good Roach is. If he's not a legend now, he will be.

Roach talks a lot but his fighters always back it up.

Exactly so. Imagine these guys training Paul Williams.

    - or my current dream combo: Roach, Aziza, and Denis Boytsov.

    Uh. Same thing.

Props to Khan and Roach of course, but Judah always had a suspect heart. and he looked garbage in this fight and only landed anything major 2 or 3 times.

Roach is a great trainer. He knows his ****. Khan boxed beautifully. But to keep this in perspective he fought zab, a known mentally weak boxer, who's best days were long ago. The only thing different about Zab now is that he says he has found God which appears to have taken the viciousness out of him. So I think the same that I thought about roach before this fight.

This fight didnt make those thoughts elevate.

Roach is clearly one of the best trainers around. Maybe the best.

He does like to talk **** though.

Same as always like Hopkins calls Roach as "The greatest trainer of our time."

I wish both of those guys had been able to work with Roach.

    Solid offensive trainer.

    Defensively his fighters are flawed.
