Khan reminded me of how Pac use to fight when he was 24 so UGLY freaking weird sometimes. The good thing about Khan is he's already sound fundamentally and has the SPEED AND GOOD POWER.With Roach's experience with a raw Pacquiao. It can only bode well for Amir Khan. And i believe he is ahead of Pacquiao was when the Pac was 24.It does take Roach a few fights to work his magic and it is showing now.
??? And yet Kahn was able to completely nullify Zab's left hook. That wasn't by chance, they specifically trained for that.
Roach trained Toney for a number of years, so he had good defensive fighters too. Pac has tightened up his defense and so has Khan. Pac barely got touched by Mosley.
Your damn right.. he has 2 killers in his stable.. khan and Pac! They are monsters in the ring and gentlemen outside of it! :deal
he happens to train the 2 best fighters on the planet, khan was a phenom as an amateur, olympian...pac was a multi world title holder before roach...roach is a good trainer...learned from the master eddie futch...but give me a list of great moments in freedy roach history before manny and khan,....?
"but give me a list of great moments in freedy roach history before manny and khan,....?[/quote] How about Virgil Hill? James Toney? A trainer can only do so much and if a fighter doesnt listen then he is doomed. Tyson is a perfect example, what little time he actually showed up to train with Freddie, he was looking much better than he had with Snowel or Ghiacetti.......he just didnt do the work so he wasnt worth a **** after 3 rounds.
Manny is an adulterer, Khan is an arrogant dick, don't get me wrong most guys are (fill in the blank) but Id hardly call a man who impregnates pinoy hookers while his wife is pregnant, a gentleman...come on breh let's be real.
Judah has lost all his big fights. Most fighters who fight Zab are able to nullify his left hook. :rofl
I didn't know you were such a stickler for pillars of society Reppin, it belies your man love for Floyd.

I don't know how he'd handle lesser talents at this point because there's no way anyone who isn't either an established champ or a legit blue-chip prospect is going to be on his radar in the first place to get serious attention. He's like the Phil Jackson of trainers- people might complain that it's not fair he gets the superstar talents and would question what he could do without such a strong starting hand. Others might say he's just riding the coat tails of coaching already superior talents. But there are plenty of times where we see the more talented guy get beat by someone who's schooled better, and the bottom line is Freddie's going to get the most out of the best. That's where his priority is. A mediocre talent wouldn't get serious attention from Roach besides some pointers. So, I don't think he's the trainer for everyone. However, if I was an exceptional amateur like Vasyl Lomachenko, and could afford to draft my trainer with the assurance I'd get enough time to really work with him, there's one guy I'd pick above the rest- and that's Freddie Roach.
