    1. Move up to 175.
    2. Sign the fight with Kovalev.
    3. Show up.
    4. Lose.

Major mistake #1 and #2 have already happened.

Are you referring to the same John Johnson that was mentioned in the other thread?

I dunno, I believe him..... he did a really good job with Kovalev's strategy against Bernard, Kovalev dominated against a perennial spoiler. He's a former champion, he knows his sh*t.

Indeed, he did a good job with Kovalev and I assume that he sees something wrong in Ward's game.

I don't doubt that jdj knows his stuff.....and yes...he looked good against Bernard

I think kovalev is good.....hes certainly not Kelly pavlik.......but its a 50 year old Bernard man....you keep up the attack on Bernard the right way and he cant do much...I agree it has to calculated the right way....but im pretty sure ward could go in there and if he threw enough, or as much as kovalev, he could do the same thing

I trust JDJ, he's a professional trainer at an elite level and former champ himself. That said, I'm curious to know what these mistakes are and it's worth noting, Kovalev will have to execute while minimizing his own mistakes that Ward sees. The chess match begins.

    No.

Don't be fooled, JDJ is NOT on the elite level as far as trainers are concerned. Kovalev still makes too many amateurish type of mistakes that a truly elite level trainer would have corrected by now.
