So what does everyone think of Pavlik chances of unifying the MW division now?

well Abraham and Sturm aren't great fighters, i'd say all 3 are on the same level....B to B+ class guys, but i've always thought Abraham would put Kelly to sleep, seeing as he has KO power and a great chin

with that said, i dont see him unifying 160

Me too, it's pretty bad that these thing's happen all the politics really get in the way. what would happen if Chelsea didn't play Man Utd or the Packers didn't play the bears because the money wasn't right.
Liverpool could duck the big 3 and play all there game's at home and wear the paper premiership title with pride.

Kelly's confidence will be just as strong as it was before the B-Hop fight. After he disposes of Rubio in a KO fashion, the AA fight should be next. AA's inactivity will be his downfall. Kelly's straighter, longer punches will be his demise.

Could you be any more biased?! Strength, Stamina and Power go to Pavlik? Seriously?! There goes your credibility...And right Pavlik is sooo experienced that he could handle all those angles Hopkins gave him, and could easily adjust his fighting style.LMAO, if Pavlik meets something he doesn´t know he´s just lost.He has no experience whatsoever with a fighter like Abraham.BTW Gevor and Ayala might argue that AA has just a good right hand.AA never had Stamina problems, on the opposite he can still knock you out with one punch in the last seconds of a fight.I see no fighter having stamina problems in this fight.
I´m not ruling out a win for Pavlik here, both AA and Pavlik are Elite at MW, but the way you make it sound like it´s an elite fighter vs a "regional star" is just biased and rediculous...

AA changed up in his last fight. He became more aggressive earlier. But Marquez isn't Pavlik. That said, AA admitted before the second Miranda matchup, that he needed to pick up his output. AA also insisted on a large ring for the second Miranda fight. I think that gives us a clue as to his preference in his way of fighting a puncher like Pavlik. I think one of the two unifies, with my nod going to Kelly IF Sturm decides to fight one of them. In spite of what Sturm has said recently, I don't think he fights either. I hope I'm wrong.

Took Jermain Taylor about 6 flush power shots to put Pavlik down, and Taylor's hands are orders of magnitude faster than Abraham's.

i dont think it hurt his chances at all he lost to a all time great one of the best middle weight to ever lacem up a pair of gloves. I dont think aa or sturm will come close to hopkins achievements

I dont know why so many people are 100% confident that Pavlik can beat AA. I think AA is strong and smart enough to hustle Pavlik on points or stop him late.

Taylor has some pretty good handspeed, but more to the point, AA has very little.
