So what exactly happened with the GGG/Derevyanchenko situation?

    I apologi
I apologize. I was surfing around and noticed that the tweet I read was referring to Spike O'Sullivan. Sullivan being one of the ones calling Golovkin out turned tail when he learned the purse was 400k out of the 1m that HBO put up for the fight. What I got out of the situation was that after that purse was announced I wasn't seeing any of the previous fighters calling out GGG anymore. As for the date argument I'm not biting. This date was set in stone before Canelo pulled out. There's a clear advantage of this date over any other date as well, especially since neither Canelo nor Mayweather would be fighting this time. It's also been known for a while that HBO dates for boxing are dwindling. It's the reason Arum is moving to ESPN.

Canelo needs 6 months between his fights. It's documented. Probably for cycling the clenbuterol. He wouldn't fight my grandmother on 3 weeks notice.

He didn't fight him so that he could fight Canelo instead, so in effect it's a duck via money chasing

You know why, it's the same reason. They wanted the Canelo fight so there was no way they were going to take a risky fight before that

I wouldn't consider it a duck with the big money fight of Canelo on the horizon. However assuming a win over Canelo I feel the next step is BJS then Derevyanchenko.

Just because you swore at the end of your post doesnt make any more factual. You say who has he fought? I say everybody. Who are you saying he hasnt fought? Other than this 1 guy who has been relevent only very recently right at the end of Golovkins career.
