Maidana is smaller, slower, shorter If he wins it will be a big upset & his best carrer route will be Rematch Mayweather then Rubber match then Four 4 Sure
Cotto they fought is not even close, Pac has a clear advantage, also whilst Floyd may have faced a slightly more fresh hatton it was at a weight where he struggled with callazo and never looked good, at 140 he looked much better and he got taken out within 1 Round. Floyd also fought JMM - Memo at 146 (ignored the catchweight), the JMM from Pac 3 and 4 >> JMM in floyd fight - but floyds performance is >>> Pac vs JMM - so Floyd does still take the advantage in my opinion Also against DLH, Pac was a substantial underdog, something Floyd has never been - could indicate floyd didnt take risky fights (his least favored fight was vs Corrales which was an odds even fight), DLH vs Floyd >> DLH vs Pac Whilst am not arguing with the 4-1, the discriptions you put only favor floyd Maidana is not smaller, he'll weigh about 160 compared to floyds 150 come fight night
Well in fairness to my tone, it was in response to someone whose descriptions only favored Pacquiao. As for the size, yeah, Maidana will both be and look bigger than Floyd in the ring.
I haven't even thought about the possibility of Maidana winning. But I think it's a good little exercise to try and think that scenario through. Let's say Maidana beats Mayweather, the same way he beat Broner (Embarrassing Mayweather without knocking him out) I think it would be devastating for Mayweather's career. It would be like when Prince Naseem lost to Barrera. Prince Naseems first elite opponent beat him. However, some people would say that Mayweather got old overnight because Maidana isn't as good a some of the other opponents Mayweather has beaten (Alvarez being one of them) However, a lot of people would rejoice because the unthinkable happened.
Maidana is small frame tough guy, all that extra weight is cause he has Patagonian autosomes, giving him a long torso, big lungs and thick built for cold weather, Maidana is a shrinked Patagonian. Mayweather frame is the polar opposite, he will be able to use all the advantages to beat Maidana, unless Maidana throws enough powershots to land a lucky shot Mayweather might try to TKO Maidana early, because Maidana will have the exact same risk in rd1 all the way to rd 12, so Floyd will try to TKO him...with no real additional risk...because Maidana is smaller, shorter & slower...he needs space to punch regardless so Mayweather has the option to counter him all 12, or go harass Maidana in his launchpad...cause Floyd is more effective upclose vs Maidana who needs space to fully extract his punches...which equal mid range for average Welters...making him effective vs guys who can't adjust
Mass suicide amongst the ***** communities. We will see more ***** leave the sport than we saw *******s leave after ktfo6.
Just like after KTFO6, you would def see an exodus. However, those are the casuals and they are welcome, and encouraged, to leave as soon as possible from these forums anyway.
It wouldn't be the biggest upset in boxing history so I don't see why you feel the need to say it "WILL NEVER HAPPEN" when less likely and more telling things have happened repeatedly over and over again throughout boxing's history. Nice attempt to degrade a potential victory over Maidana.
Listen even by some how Maidana is winning on the scorecards(i don't know why im even contemplating this Disney land scenario) but say he is winning they will rob him his chances are virtually zero.:hi:
