    Then we'll have Mayweather/De la Hoya 2!

Beating Cotto would put Oscar right back on top and honestly - I think Oscar wins this in a pretty good fight.

I think Oscar would gas out again down the stretch and lose a UD but it would be interesting to see what everyone would do if Oscar won.

Cotto takes endless flack by losing to an old, part timer and all his subsequent big victories are pulled apart... zab (coming off back to back losses and low blow contraversy), mosley (old and close fight anyway), quintana (unproven) etc etc

Hoya will beat Cotto, he is still a level above Cotto.

You make a good point - but I don't see this fight going the distance.

Cotto's defense is still suspect - Oscar still has a good left hook. On top of that - Oscar's body has settled into the 154 Jr. Middleweight and he's carrying it well - so his punching power should be stronger than Mosley's.

But this is just my opinion.

Oscar is talking about 147 even though I can't imagine him making that weight anymore.

His value wouldn't go above Floyd's but they'd probably break the PPV record again

    Either Oscar/Floyd II.

Or, the fight I'd rather see....given Tito KOs Roy. Oscar vs Tito II in Puerto Rico. Imagine that!!!!! Damn!

Guys, there's no way in hell Oscar beats Cotto. He gassed against PBF even quicker than he used to gas. True that if Cotto were STUPID, he could get KO'd by Oscar early. But he isn't stupid. He'd hold even with Oscar until the late rounds, then take over. He'd know to wait to turn up his aggression around the 8th or 9th. He'd probably KO Oscar late, or win a close but clear decision.

I actually think DLH wins everyones like oh did u see Cottos jab vs Mosley ? Yeah its dam good but Oscars jab is a elite jab and im sure his lefthook would badly hurt Cotto as DLH is by far the biggest puncher Cottos ever faced and the best finisher of any guy thats ever stunned Cotto. I dont think it would be like DLH-Trinidad for 5-6 rounds then DLH stopping him or something I expect something more the lines of DLH-Vargas back and forth until DLH gets a 10th round stoppage.

Mayweathers different he makes people gass quicker because u spend alot of time hitting air. Cottos defense isnt horrible but it isnt Floyd Mayweathers.

If Oscar beats Cotto, PBF moves up even more on ATG lists
