HBO have said they don't want another Pacquiao fight unless its Mayweather. However, the recent PPV "success" of the Mosley fight might change their minds?????

    Poll will be added

HBO never said "they don't want another Pacquiao fight unless it's Mayweather".

HBO were desperate to keep Pac but Arum went to Showtime cos of the exposure they'd get from CBS.

Looks like HBO might be S.O.L. again...
(Sarcasm: I guess they can always counter w/Berto or Paul Williams?)

bob arum moved all toprank fighters to showtime because hbo prefered martinez vs dzinziruk over cotto vs mayorga, I guess it will be on showtime, which is fine by me.

Does anyone else get the feeling that showtime just care a lot more about boxing than HBO does?

HBO would have to be pretty stupid not to try and pick up this fight. It will easily do one million PPV. What's the highest selling PPV HBO have had this year? They can **** on the Mosley fight all they want, it squashed their biggest PPV event in buys and money made. Passing on Pac's fights doesn't make business sense

shut the **** up you jack ass, Greenberg did say that :rofl

"In light of his recent opponents and added to that last nights performance, we highly feel that the only person we want to see him in the ring with is Floyd Mayweather, no disrespect to Bob Arum or Manny, but the level of opposition as of late has been sub par, We were promised the Mayweather fight after the Antonio Margarito showdown, but it never came to fruitaton. Lets just say were not gonna be too crazy about putting his next fight on a PPV if it's with us"

I wish Showtime hadn't bought the Mosley fight either. I commend HBO for stepping up and saying no to that fight. While I do agree that it makes business sense to buy any fight involving Manny, all business is what got us into the mess of the Clottey fight. It was good to see somebody standing up to Bob Arum's greedy matchmaking.

Im glad. After this performance do you think the general public that CBS brought in is gonna turn in for Pacs next fight??

People keep saying Pac did good but in reality this fight was a flop. It got beat by PBF again and this time they had Pac on national TV. CBS is as big as it gets here in the states and even then it got beat by PBF. Also with how bad this was and if they pick Bradley for the next fight you can bet HBO wont want that fight. No way that one hits 1 million even with CBS backing it again. The whole card was terrible and only 1 fight was worthy of PPV that on paper it actually wasnt. If i wasnt for Arce the whole PPV event would have been a flop.

HBO will probably do the Pac-JMM ppv if it gets made. It will be a big fight and HBO has taken heat for letting Pac move to Showtime. HBO has a bigger boxing budget than Showtime and can offer Top Rank more dates than Showtime can for bringing Pac back to HBO.
