How will the division pan out over the next 12 months? Personally I'm excited! Hopefully Manny fights someone next that isn't Khan, so that Khan HAS to fight a puncher (although a fight between the two would be awesome) as the fight with Floyd is never happening. Hopefully it's Thurman/Pac & Khan/Brook. Maidana might come back. Garcia is here. Spence is up and coming. Bradley, JMM are still there, Berto can come again. I think the WW division might just light up now that there's no multi-million dollar payday against Floyd. Thoughts?
Thurman, Brook, Khan, Pac, Porter, Garcia all need to fight eachother to find out what the 1-5 rankings are.
The focus will switch to Pac as he's now the clear number 1 and the biggest draw by far. Everyone will clamour to fight him, Khan seems already to be trying, ducking every possible opponent who can punch in the hopes of securing a fight with Pac.
Isn't that the problem with boxing at the moment, that finding out who the best is 'impossible' as you put it.
well with floyd out of the picture the only big hot payday is pac. hopefully this means fighters will stop avoiding eachother in the hope of landing the big payday (with news khan is almost certain to face pac next it can only help this). i think brook is the best WW in the world pac and he would be a great fight to watch
