They use hair mainly for longterm storage and... to test for DHEA. They test every mother****er for DHEA in France. And yes they've caught lotsa people. Oh and no, they haven't caught Armstrong for DHEA.

i was just about to mention the the falsification of the "Armstrong testing Positive". But it was WADA that was involved in that? I thought it was just the French agencies. Wow, thanks for the eye opener Smokingm

 

The easiest way to resolve all of this testing debate is for the NASC to amend their testing procedures. Include the proper protocols for random blood and urine testing.
Once the new standard is in place, all fighters will have no choice but to comply.

 

It has been apparent for some time now that the testing in boxing is not up to par. I believe in everyone having a fair fight and so I've always been on board for this.

 

Dick "****ing" Pound (me in theass), the director of WADA, came out and blasted Armstrong many times. The essence of it all is that the test samples were frozen, and they were then supposed to be destroyed 5 years or so after 99. The LLND held onto their sample. Samples are supposed to be secretly coded so you never know whose samples you are dealing with. Anyways, LLND leaked out the sample codes to L'Equippe after LLND faked the tests. L'Equippe then went public and naming Armstrong as a doper. You gotta ask how LLND got the codes, from either WADA or the UCI (cycling body). The UCI has been fair with Armstrong, but ole Dicky Pound well he doesn't quite like Armstrong.

WADA backed LLND and L'Equippe, and Dick "****ing" Pound (me in theass) threw his two bits in as well.

 

Its no longer based on skin color though. Thats a complicated issue. The point I was trying to make is, change is the only thing is life that is constant. There will always be resistance to it. In this case the timing of the stricter testing makes sense when you consider all the previous PEDs in pro sports.

 

I was pissed too. It is an amazing venue. Then I did some research. That is a world class event. People will want to make a weekend out of it. After the fight what is there to do?

Maybe that is just "revenge" threads. He could have easily stayed in Vegas for camp and arrived in Texas for fight night clean. That stuff is only illegal in a fight. Mayweather openly has used it in training. As far as I know.
