So you believe stricter blood testing is a bad idea, or at least not a good one?

I think the experts know better than any of us.
    Leave that to them.

With all the bull**** that goes on in boxing I can see a similar scenario happening. if boxing does get to the olympic style testing point.

    is anything sacred anymore?

Nope, nothing's sacred anymore. It's funny cuz you can't declare someone guilty w/o an A and B sample testing according to Wada regulations, but they declared LA guilty with just a B sample, and a doctored one at that.

This convo is going to be conveniently ignored by the Rooney and Nallege's though and that's sad but to be expected.

I'm all for it! Floyd and his team did bring it to my attention, but I am for anything within reason that can assure us that the boxers that we love are clean athletes. And the ones we don't love for that matter.

So you honestly don't care about how boxing is being handeled as far as anti-doping?

I said its a necessary evil, AND that we shouldn't just blindly accept whatever they find.

This is why our justice system has this thing called... wait for it, CHECKS AND BALANCES. But in the anti-doping world, whose watching Wada and their agencies? There's no oversight, no balance, no checks. All you have is a right to have enough cash and support to mount your own defense.

We need the anti-doping measures, but we also have to understand that it has limitations.

Most of us here are not experts on the issue of testing, but we do know that several qualified sources, including Victor Conte who ran Balco have concluded that the current system in place in boxing where the boxer knows when and how they will be tested is a complete joke.

My stance is that boxing should use more current methods to catch cheats.

How many times has a fighter been seriously hurt at the hands of a cheat????

Exactly, boxing does'nt know because it does'nt want to know.
Its about time the clean fighters of this sport are protected, and more stringent tests be administered to catch these cheats.
......and they can start by testing fighters at the Championship level, as I suspect that this level is where the money is at and where most of the cheats habitate.

You won't get an accurate result here, a ton of *******s that would have supported it before won't now because Pacquiao has fled from $40 Million over this.

The sport should adapt testing to catch cheaters, if that means moving from Urine to blood so be it. We have seen behind the times testing vs Modern PEDs users, and the modern PEDs users are kicking the tests ass. Ask McGuiwre, Sosa, Bonds, or even Shane Mosley. All those guys passed the current (or semi-current) testing methods and were only busted because of outside circumstances. Victor Conte and Don Caitlin both have said similar things about the current testing, and that is that it is laughable and you need to be extremely stupid or unlucky to get caught cheating.
