Mosley is a better fighter than Hatton, no doubt, but to say he is 100x more skilled is a gross exaggeration. Mosley himself is prone to engaging in reckless brawling, and throwing wide looping shots while losing his balance. Someone with the skills of Floyd will make him pay for those kinds of mistakes.

Oh ppl . You have to leave Cotto out of this . before the bricks where layed to him he was a confident beast . He would have pounded his way threw most fighters that night , and for Winky And Vernon Winky has the games best jab and great hands up D along with a decent reach to boot , Now Vernon was a master of range and was about 6"1 . So Shane had a lot of range to deal with Floyd will not have the same advantages of Cottos power ,Winkys jab ,or Vernons range and right hand .

 

Hatton lost every round to Floyd, and Shane could be as strong as Hercules...but speed kills, and Shane has never dealt with someone with Floyd's speed...

 

It'll be a close fight. The comparisons to Winky and Forrest are not valid as both were very big/strong fighters. Mayweather is small for 147 and is not a huge puncher.

Cheering for SSM but expect a close decision for Mayweather.

 

Dont think that Shane himself has no speed neither, and regarding the point I made about Hatton, look if Hatton who is lesser skilled can bully Mayweather, Mosley will be able to as well the difference here is going to be that Mosley knows how to place his punches much better than Hatton he can also box much better than hatton and Shane can crack with both hands.
he isnt mentally weak like Judah, he is not a flat footed stiff like Baldo, he isnt a feather weight moving up to fight Floyd, and he is not a one handed DLH....
this is going to be a fight, and I think Mosley has enough left to grab this one

 

No fight is a walk in the park but this fight is a mismatch. It will be fun watching everyone age Mosley 10 years after Floyd walks through him. Anything to keep him from getting credit.

Forrest had a height advantage and Winky had a weight advantage. Shane was still able to make the Winky rematch close though he still lost. The same with the Cotto fight though some may think Shane won that. Shane has a better chance in this fight then people give him.
