Clottey dropped it inorder to fight Cotto, so that would mean as of now its vacant.

In a division with so many superstars that piece of tin holds a lot of value.

    Here are there rankings:
    1. Vacant
    2. Delvin Rodriguez
    3. Isaac Hlatschwayo
    4. Rafael Jackiwicz
    5. Jesus Soto - Karass
    6. Seluck Aydin
    8. Luis Collazo
    9.Jan Zaveck
    10. Mike Jones.

I know its a very shitty list, the scary part is the IBF could bump Urango to #1 and fight for it in his next fight if he chooses to stay at 147 :tired. Best case scenario we atleast get Soto-Karass vs. Collazo and add another mexican/puerto rican championship rivalry bout.

It would be a dream though if the IBF says F**k it and sanction PBF/JMM :D.

    I wonder the same thing.
Considering Collazo's performance Vs. Berto (I think he defo deserves his name inked in..)
I wouldn't be surprised to see Urango thrown in either..

Besides the top dog's, the rest of the list don't really look that impressive at all.

Hlatswayo vs Rodriguez was for mandatory status and it was a draw right? So then have them fight again to determine the champ. From there that winner gets fed to either a returning Margarito or Paul Williams.

I highly doubt that any sanction would want to have anything to do with Margarito now. Also Paul Williams wouldnt have anything to do with WW unless its for linealship or a big $$$ fight.

Hatton is ranked high for the IBF at 140, maybe just maybe we can get Collazo vs. Hatton II for that title. This would be the most acceptable corrupt thing for the IBF to do IMO.

    :lol::lol:

Hatton vs Collazo would be intriguing to say the least. I don't know why the IBF wouldn't just run a tournament to crown the champ. They've run tournaments before.

Margarito may be tainted goods but he's also money in the bank. Arum + profit = anything is possible with those guys.

Now as per Paul Williams, I think if the opportunity to grab ANOTHER belt came along he'd come down. The IBF belt IS a title and who knows? Maybe the belt will force something with Clottey or Margarito or Cotto.

That list is worse than a ****in disgrace....

This is what you get when you have Bob Arum freezing people out of an entire division, and you have fans who play into this "boxing is a business" bull****.

    9. Isaac Hlatshwayo (28-1-1)

South Africa's Hlatshwayo drew with Rodriguez in an eliminator in South Africa in November. A rematch has been mandated to fill the title Clottey vacated, and it could be in the United States.
    Next: TBA vs. Rodriguez.
