AA looked massive compared to him, and he is a tiny SMW.

I think a drop in weight to MW or LMW would be great for Paul, although there are some serious killers on the world stage in those weight classes. Saying that though, he was in with one of the hardest hitters in boxing last night and more than held his own, so...

And Paul looks like he has the weight to drop as well.

Smith vs Ryder/BJS/Murray/Lee are fights that i'd pay to see.

AA should face Kessler. I've wanted to see that since the S6 was born.

Rocky Fielding. Simple. Would love to see that fight.

The Abraham rematch is so pointless.

Not trying to downplay Smiths performance which was excellent but AA is worn out after a hard career - if he was anywhere near his best he would have smashed Paul.

I would like to see Smith in a Liverpool derby against Fielding and If he wins hopefully another crack at the WBO late next year

I really like the Fielding fight although I doubt Rocky fancies it. It's a shame he can't go for the Euro strap but Groves won't be dropping that soon.

I think the weight drop is a bad move for smigga, at this stage of his career to mess around and try cut weight would be a v risky move & to be honest middle weight in Britain is already stacked - if Murray can't buy a title shot after what he did to Martinez,I'm not sure what Paul could achieve...

S/mid is the best bet.. Win the Lonsdale out right, won't be against fielding though, too risky.

Then retire. Wouldn't be surprised to see the kind of statement of
"My heart was broken in Germany , I fell out of love with the sport"

Next we see fielding an callum for the vacant title!

Can see him thinking he is above domestic level now which is reason why he won't fight Fielding

Problem is Groves is European champ

Maybe a fight for WBO Europe/Intergalactic to keep his ranking high

Problem for him is that WBO don't enforce mandatories that much

AA will move on from this, controversy is in scoring, not the result, so he has nothing to prove.

Paul should have a long rest a holiday with his family and one more defence of his British so he wins the belt outright,
Then go into media full time has he's by a long way the best analyst out there

I think he should take an easy British title fight to get it outright if he doesn't get the rematch, then take the fielding fight which if he wins I believe will get him a good ranking for a shot at maybe the IBF when froch retires and vacates

Fully agree Billy, I like Paul I know on t.v he looks like he's just downed a pint of vinegar but he is a good boxing analyst and I like his contribution.

If he has got the money and is comfy, retire and go out on a high having put up a good challenge for a world title and maybe get commentary if he can

wise words I would like Smith to win British outright then if Groves vacates Euro strap go that route. Would love to see Rocky VS Smith could be a support for Quigg Frampton.

Billy being a trainer with AA having a high guard would u tell Smith to throw uppercuts.?
