Clearly he did handle it seeing as he has a win on his record over Martinez, the Middleweight champion. Floyd and Martinez cannot even be compared that closely too be honest besides the counterpunching aspect. Martinez is much larger and moves more.

After saturday's fight I am now convinced as well. Always thought it would be difficult for Mayweather. It might be at first but then it would be a typical Mayweather fight. Williams wouldnt stop trying though

Williams would stop Void, unless Void could get Williams to throw the fight. Watch the second round of Mosley/Void fight. Pac would never have stopped throwing punches! Pac would refuse to throw the fight.

Watch the second round. Tell me why Mosley stopped punching? Williams mentioned it in an interview!

    Which I still find weird.

He is exciting, from all accounts a nice guy, and willing to fight anybody.

Hell, if he was from Britain they would be all over him.

I still think he is the most dangerous fighter for Floyd out there right now. It doesn't make sense for Floyd to fight him when he can get more mileage beating more popular fighters.

At the end of the day no matter who Floyd fights next he will be ducking someone. If the haters would just make that clear at least we would know what were dealing with. It was the same before the Mosley fight was signed. Oh floyd needs to fight Shane but once it was signed, it was being said that he was forced to take the fight, Shane is shot, and he was ducking Pac. who walked away from talks and signed to fight Clottey.

Nothing will change, if he fights Williams he is ducking Pac, if he fights Pac he is ducking Martinez, if he fights Martinez then he is ducking Bute.:patsch

There's no money in a Mayweather - Williams fight right now compared to Floyd's other possible opponents.

It's a shame because I'd like to see Mayweather put on a Corrrales type performance against him.
