What excuse(s) will team GGG and his minions have for blowing that matchup? Now that the belt is't at playthe fight doesn't have to be at the 160 limit. When Canelo calls GGG and offers him his biggest payday will GGG oblige or will he yet again, have another excuse why he cannot be bothered to fight an elite fighter? He was willing to have Ward come down to 164, so the fair thing here is that he should be willing to come down to 155. Is GGG full of it, or we he man up and fight at the CW the same way he wanted Ward to fight him at a CW?
hey princess, you sad that the world is taking a **** on that redheaded wannabe?? now dont you hurt yourself.....:hi:
You're not even worth debating. ALl your rants are fuled by bitterness and unreasobable love for another man... ...But I'll give it a shot anyway. I'l start by asking, do you still want to see a GGG-Canelo showdown?
#1 this isn't likely to happen. All the noises from both camps are that Canelo has got fed up of draining himself even to make Caneloweight and is willing to fight at 160. #2 in the hypothetical scenario, it would depend on what Canelo's next move is. If he confirms that he is moving back to 154 and does not consider himself effective at middleweight and has his next fight at 154 I would support a catchweight fight and it would be up to GGG to decide whether he can make it safely. I personally still think 155 is too low, 157 would be about right but that's up to the fighters. If Canelo doesn't go back to 154 then I can only assume that he can't make it anymore. In which case he is just going to have to accept that the next division up is middleweight at 160 and Golovkin should not be giving any concessions to him. You can't create a 157 belt and say "oh look here's one I made earlier"!!!

Canelo stated in his post fight interview that for this fight the belts didn't matter, and honestly it does not matter. Both Canelo and GGG are big enough names where a belt isn't required to see them fight aganist each other. If Canelo fights one or two fighters at the 160 limit then of course a CW would not make sense. If Canelo fights GGG for his next bout, then a catchweight is perfectly reasonable considering the highest Canelo has weighed in is 155. Whatever the case, I hope GGG makes the fight happen. He is not getting 55-45, it does not have to be for any corrupt ABC titles, and it does not have to be at the limit... It should be done for the fans, and I'm sure if GGG isn't afraid (and I dont think he is) he will concede to a CW.
I couldn't disagree more. The whole reason for the 155 is an attempt to weaken GGG and give Canelo a physical advantage. .IF they fight, I want both to be at their best. No excuses. IF the fight happens and IF Canelo was to win, do you not think there would be a flood of "weight drain" excuses? Of course there would be. Make the fight at the MW range so both fighters are comfortable and at their best. If not, GGG can tell Canelo to get in line and earn his shot at 160
fighters dont actually care about a "flood of weight drain excuses" from a bunch of message board talking heads......they really dont...hate to break it to you
Maybe you are right...but that doesn't answer the point...do the people who want to see the fight want to see it with both guys at their best, or do they want to see it where one guy will only fight with a contracted physical advantage?
we wanted to see lil g vs ward at 168 yes....but we couldnt get that....we were told "164"...just like pac told cotto to drain...told margarito to drain for a 154 title...it just is what it is my man
Ok..so you are refusing to answer..then I will answer for you... The 155 is an attempt on Canelos part to try and have GGG come in at less than 100%. To give a physical advantage to a guy in a fight between 2 guys in the same weight class..see that wasn't so hard. Anyone who denies that's not the truth of the matter is in denial.
