So when did Winky Wright decide to jack Ike Quartey's style?

Just out of interest, why did Quartey retire? I remember I thought he beat Forrest in his penultimate fight and even though he lost easily to Winky, that was at 160lbs and against an excellent fighter who was near his peak. Certainly not too damning. Had Quartey fought at a lower weight, he probably would have been successful but he chose to retire instead.

Anyone know why? I know he was rich so was he just too busy with his life away from the ring? And what happened to his proposed return in 2008?
