If negotiations were going well, K2 and GB could have agreed to an extension of talks. The parties can always agree to extend negotiations. The belt never was an issue in my opinion. We will see what happens but I don't think this fight will get made. I hope I am wrong.

I believe due to the original agreement made by the WBC there would be no extensions granted it was basically make the fight in a week or it goes to purse bid.
From what I've seen both aides wanted to avoid a bid and vacating was talked about to allow time for free negotiations to take place.

We all know K2 likes to run there mouth so if was a situation of trying to avoid the fight they would have said that instead of what was actually released.
