I mostly view the Canelo haters as Top Rank guys who don't want him to be the future, it's always the same guys who say Donaire the future.

I'd imagine they are like the late comers who claim Oscar lost every notable fight of his. Canelo fought top LW Miguel Vazquez at 15 and 17, top15 contenders Euri Goznalez and Michael Rosales at 18, a The Ring top 5 Rhodes and former champs Baldomir, N'Dou, Cintron at 20 and punished future HOF Mosley even more than Pac or Floyd at 21 with now taking on a prime, unbeaten elite champ in Trout hoping to follow it with P4P King Money Mayweather and he's avoiding tough fights? :patsch

No resume compares at such a young age in recent times. And even if that's a resume with a loss 2 months from now, that's still impressive at 22.

The fans worldwide, the casuals, everyone also pressed for the Floyd-Manny fight to happen.

    What happened?

I think the world, the casual and almost everyone think bob had something to do with it. Drug test are starting to be a popular thing. Imagine how funny it will be when team pac ask marquez for drug test for the fifth fight.

Absolutely that's why there was no excuse for this fight not to be made, there was no promotional war going on, hopefully GB & TR sort it out because were all gonna keep losing out on certain bouts

i dont believe that anyone is criticizing canelos resume for a 22-year-old.

they are criticizing his resume as a 154 wbc champion, especially the last four defenses(the hatton title fight was also horrible) which is arguably the worst title run in the last ten years.

    two entirely differnt things.

    whats wrong with that?

i think ost should be made for every title or title eliminator fight and if you are caught with testosterone limits exceeding six times the normal limit you are suspended from the sport for three years.

i agree Mosley is WAY past his prime, but why was it ok for Pacquiao and Mayweather P4P #1 and #2 to fight him and not a upcoming prospect?

I don't put any weight on that bs wbc title where some folks think that titles actually mean anything in this day and age, I only look at his age and competition and so far its been spectacular.

when floyd fought mosely he was coming off the eight-round destruction of margarito and was still a pfp candidate and the paq win over shane was clearly compromised therafter...all three welterweight fights and not 154 fights which is clearly not shanes weight class.

de la hoya looked spectacular against a close to prime mayorga, competitively lost agaisnt a prime floyd and then looked like absolute **** against both forbes and paq.

its safe to say that the faded mosely that fought canelo was similar to the faded hoya that fought paq.

comparing the mosely that fought floyd(147) to the mosely that fought canelo(154) is pretty igonorant even to the most clueless canelo nuthuggers.
