Just wondering peoples opinion on this, with Wlad Klitchsko imminently returning for 3 fights on DAZN where do you rank him????

Me personally, he rained supreme (maybe somewhat boringly) for a good while and his skill set cannot be denied. He's been inactive and hasn't boxed for 2 years although I imagine he's a gym rat so that favours him. He's gonna be butthurt after his losses as he appears a man of pride and DAZN is investing a nice chunk of cash his way, so will he and or DAZN accept boring mediocre fights??

I got him 5th behing Fury AJ Whyte Wilder, In that order... I actually think if WK came back in the same condition he was in against Joshua, Wlad would knock Wilder out making him 4th.. but the time out of the rings a huge factor.

I'd like to see maybe Briggs or maybe Chisora in the first fight?? History there...

Then I'd assume he could take a scalp from a previous opponent of a champ? So how about Luis Ortiz?? He's ageing and went 12 with hammer, surely WK could UD Ortiz??

Lining him up for Wilder 2020??

    Interesting.

So, where do you guys have him??? And who does he fight??

Probably somewhere among the top 5, certainly behind Joshua and Fury. Maybe better than Wilder and Whyte, maybe not.

As for who he fights, that's hard to tell. The likes of Whyte, Parker, Povetkin would probably be realistic. Maybe work his way up to a Joshua or Usyk fight. Those are the kinds of opponents that would do big numbers in Germany at least, that aren't tied up with other networks.

Out of the ring for two years and over 40 I'd say not ranked at all because we just don't know. If I had to guess I'd say he is still solidly top 10 but everyday out is a detriment.

He's not coming back. In the tweet he was reflecting back on the Joshua fight which was exactly 2 years ago today.

    Doubt hes coming back.

If he is I have him 5th.

I think AJ, Fury, Wilder and Whyte rate above him and also beat him head to head.

Wlad is not even top 15 anymore.
If you look at the fighters that here successfull in their 40s they all share one thing, a iron chin. Pacquia, vitali, bhop and foreman all have chins made of granite.

To be quit honest, i think wlad is really doing this not for the money nor the fame but because this is the thing that filled his life. He was such consistent athlete for the last 20 years i think it is very hard for him to find a new reason to live. He never seemed like a guy that was too concerned with a family life.
    But thats just speculation.

If he comes back, let see how he does in his first fight before you wet your panty on where he belongs.
