So, we have Antonio Margarito as the new WBA Welterweight Champion. Do we see now the beginning of a run off for an Undisputed Welterweight Champion? It was to be Cotto vs. Clottey but that's probably will not happen. Here are the current champion as of today:

    WBA - Antonio Margarito
    WBC - Andre Berto
    IBF - TBA
    WBO - Paul Williams

    What do you guys think?

The thing I cannot understand is when they interviewed Marg..I didn't hear him even mention Paul Williams name. You think after just slowly rolling over Cotto...and his loss to PW he'd want a rematch NOW.
Paul Williams vs Marg is the only fight at WW I want to see right now. Berto is way to new, and short to fight either of these guys. I don't want to see the guy DIE!
Of course if PBF wants to come back and fight Marg it'd be welcome. I'm interested to see if any man Cotto's size (which is what Floyd is around) can take the pressure of Marg. Of course Mayweather is in good shape, but could he take the punishment for 12 rounds? Mayweather also doesn't nearly hit as hard...So, I'm sure Marg would swarm him even faster, and harder.

Back to a fight that COULD happen though. PW vs Marg. The new version of PW, the one who knocked Quintana out in the first...I'm just wondering if he could do damage to Marg? We know it's possible he can beat him on workrate, but he never sit down on his punches back then. After losing though...He damn sure made it known he can sit down on his punches. He also has a great chin, great stamina, and is able to take punches (as he proved in there first fight). I'm really dieing to see these guys fight again.
Marg has become more aggressive, and is now fighting HARD all 12 rounds (as opposed to before when he was a late starter)
Williams has tasted defeat, came back hungry, and proved he can also punch.
