Iv got a feeling it's going to be Ortiz.

It all fits in place now with Ortiz fight with Berto being cancelled. They could get that fight on in April

HBO want meaningful fights for Khan, it has to be a U.S based fighter who fights on thier shows, Matthyse is a good fight, so is Guerrero.

But Khan wants to move to 147 if Peterson don't take the which I don't think he will now, hope it's not Shane.

    Khan Vs Rios

I do not think Khan would want to leave LWW beaten so after his much talked about weight problems Brandon Rios should and probably will make the step up to 140 and its an easy and natural fight to make.

It has a bit of history there because of that video that Rios apologised to Roach for, Rios is exactly the type of fighter that causes Khan problems and vice versa and depending on the Peterson appeal it could be for the vacant WBA belt for two former WBA champions.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

I hope he fights Ortiz or rematches Maidana or Prescott

  9. I can't see them doing Khan vs Ortiz now.

Both men are at a pretty low point at the minute, coming off a bad defeat each.... Golden Girl see these two as the future, and whatever they say seems to go at HBO.

Unless HBO force this, I can't see it for at least a year.

I'd make Khan the favourite in that one.

With Peterson signed up to fight Marquez, Maidana is facing Alexander, Rios is with Arum..... Matthysse is a bit of a nobody who would be dangerous....

There's lots of potential options but each have obstacles in the way of them.

My take is the WBA champ at 147 is obvious. Mind as well become a two division champ. Peterson rematch will come eventually. Or if the fight comes now, even better.

Id love to see Khan v Matthyse, I think Matthyse stops Khan to be honest, the blueprint is there to beat Khan, unless Khan magically learns in one training camp,,how do defend being pressurised, stop getting backed up on the ropes and some inside game? he's ****ed.

Ortiz @ 147 would be interesting.

Would team Khan be willing to take that as their first fight @ 147 though? I doubt it
