So, where's the proof Algeri is better than Broner?

Broner's resume is better, I agree.

Provo and Maidana aren't much different in my opinion. But Provo is a better technical fighter and I think he'd beat Maidana simply because his chin seems to be better.

Until they actually fight we won't know for sure who's better but I'd have Algieri as a clear favourite based on recent performances.

Algieri isn't the smoothest or even technically sound of boxers but he's awkward. Big advantages in height and reach and he knows how to use it. His footwork is poor, he crosses his feet a lot but he still moves well which will undoubtedly give Broner problems. He also shortens his shots nicely for a tall guy, has decent upper body movement and keeps his hands up.

I see Broner struggling with Algieri's height and reach. His lack of movement see's him out of range for most of the fight. Broner is most effective at range which won't help him against the much taller Algieri. Broner will need to do more than fight in short bursts like he often does to get to Algieri. Algieri wins a comfortable decision.
