    :good

The knee jerk reactions (as I have said before) around here are ridiculous.

Yes Wlad is #1, no way you could put Vitali past him based on one performance.

With that being said, No way I bet against him if he fought Wlad.

Vitali was so impressive against Peter, that I think he is a new number one fighter in the world.

I cant think a challenger who could win a match against him. :?

Wlad and Vitali should unified their titles. :deal

Absolute no-brainer. Rankings are based on actual accomplishments, not meaningless hypothetical head-to-head matchups. Whether or not Vitali could beat Wlad, or anyone else is irrelevant. Vitali now has one win over a top-ten opponent in four years. Wlad has 6 top-ten scalps in that time. Wlad has been the world's best heavy since he beat Byrd in '06. A good win by Vitali over a man ranked below Wlad does not vault him over his younger brother.

Vitali is the best heavy in the world. If Vitali fought Wlad, he would whip Wlad's ass lol...

Wlad is the #1 but Vitali is better.

You can't rank Vitali #1 after 4 years off and 1 win though.

Bit of a split of opinion here. I still think Vitali is the number 1 by a very slim margin, because while Wlad was clearly the best in the division, he only had two belts, he wasn't a proper undisputed champion by a long stretch....

Also, Vitali was the clear number 1 4 years ago, and has returned with a great win for the best belt....

The best way to find out is letting them face each other. It is the only fight at HW that truely matters.

Haye i agree with your theory. I've always considered Vitali the better out of the two. Although i consider Wladimir the more skilled boxer i rate Vitali as the better overall fighter.
