The best basically totally unheard of fighter I know of by the eye test is Yongqiang Yang. He is 13-0 so he's had a decent number of fights, but he is totally unheard of. His distance management is actually astoundingly good. No idea how good he is now though as he hasn't fought for 3 1/2 years, and he didn't look especially young. If he comes back and is decently young, plus gets some opportunities, I think he would shock people. He's a lightweight.

There's a bunch of "virtually unknown" fighters from the lower weight classes. If they don't have a title and they're not from Japan, the Philippines or Mexico, they're probably unknown, regardless of talent.

    More famous but underrated extremely:

Nawaphon Kaikana is about to be in an eliminator. I think he is pretty good, decent chance he picks up a title later. He's a 118er. Very heavy handed, with a pleasing, slow-fast type style.

I think Masamichi Yabuki is the overall most underrated boxer on Earth right now. He's 15-4 14 KO but imo should be 17-2. He has some fame since he did manage to knock out Ken Shiro, but I think a lot of people have written him off as a one hit wonder. Totally incorrect, he's a fantastic boxer. I recommend watching him. He might be out of his prime very soon, so watch him while you can. His next fight should be for the IBF at 108.

Toshiki Shimomachi is 16-1-2 and on an absolute tear at 126 right now. He's 179cm/5'10 1/2, and his next fight is for the Japanese title at 122. His recent performances have been extremely good, and I expect him to win the 122 Japanese title fairly easily. He might go on to pick up a title.

Keep an eye out for Grant Flores. 18 years old and just won his pro debut last week via KO/TKO. I have a feeling this kid is going places.

I am going out on a limb and say that Raymond Muratalla is the best fighter on the planet that is still a relative unknown. His boxing is beautiful to watch!

Strong agree with the Yabuki mention. Would love to see him win another title.

Practically no fighter is going to make it bigtime. Don Kings network is gone. HBO isn't doing fights anymore, the germans aint doing their thing any more, boxing is not doing well these days.
