I put all my vcash on Peter and wrote some stupid things about Vitali but I really can not see Vitali losing this one, unless he really is a old bum fraud.
Thought vitali all the way when the fight was announced but the most recent pics and vids seem to show something different in Vitalis eyes . I dont know if its there anymore. Vitali by late ko but I'm only having 10p on it !
4 years out of the ring plus various injuries has made what could have been very one-sided into a 50/50 fight. i have a feeling peter will win, but i'm hoping vitali pulls it off. i find the posts in the general forum calling 1st round ko victories for vitali to be a tad annoying.
The only way Peter wins this is getting close enough and thwoing those illegal punches to the back of the head. However this fight is in Germany and the ref will not stand for such dirty play form Peter. Vitali is in good shape and will last the 12, he keeps in shape and so stamina should not be an issue and he has been sparring on and off for the last few years so will not be rusty enough for a fat git like Peter to beat.
Of course I'm confident, but I'm not one to go for avatar bets. I can't be arsed to pick out an avatar for you when Peter wins. I'll just spend an awful lot of time berating those who picked Vitali to win.However......if Vitali does somehow pull it out, I'd have no problem with whatever avatar you decide.
On quite a few threads on the GF there seems to be a bit of a gay undertone :yikes If I dropped a virtual fiiver in there I would make sure I kicked it to the wall before bending over to pick it up :blood
Peter by late stoppage, just can't see how Klitchko can come back at this level in his first fight back without a tune-up. Not bothered either way but an even and exciting fight in this division is good for boxing - and people have heard of Klitchko at least. How about David Haye to knock out both Klitchkos?
Hard to see how they could be much more than sparring though. Is there anyone else who's come back at this level after such a lay off in their first fight back? I'm going to kick this off with Sugar Ray Leonard v Hagler, anyone have an opinion who won that? Thought not atsch
If Vitali is nearly as good as he used to be he should win easily. I see a retirement through injury and a win for Peter being a possibility though.
I have an opinion regarding the outcome of the aforementioned fight. Very presumptious of you to automatically rech the conclusion that none of us would be able to offer an opinion on who won that fight & why! I thought Leonard won, does that shock you?
