What is the matter with you folks, don't even mention Cintron when you have an IBF title holder in Jan Zaveck who would without a doubt make Berto fight for his money. Boxing has the blindest fans.

berto will fight pacquiao, mosley has problems with gbp contract and nobody wants to see it, marquez at 147 is bull**** as well, mayweather is losing his mind, martinez to big, berto at 147 is black undefeated and a beltholder. It is a excellent choice and its time to step it up.

And too be fair, he was signed and ready to face Mosley this year, but due to unfortunate circumstances had to pull out.

Had he won that fight his stock may have risen and he would probably have no shortage of good fighters challenging him for his peice of the welter belt.

You my boy, B, but that's crazy. Berto would get slaughtered by either. Badly embarrassed.

Precisely. FYI, Dibella has recently stated that he intends on re-exploring a Berto-Mosley match for early 2011. (Of course this would be contingent on either guy not landing a fight against Pac or Mayweather)

For some reason, San, I envision that you watch boxing with the same posture as Linares in your avy. :D Prolly with shades on too. :D

For the record, I don't disagree that Berto would get pulverized by either Pac or Mayweather. I do think though that his speed could present some dubious instances early in the fight for either guy (making things exciting for the fans, again early in the fight, and again, only for brief instances.)

If Mosley doesn't land Pacquiao then I wouldn't mind seeing that, at least then it'd be a good barometer of where Berto is at right now. If not then Clottey would be a good option.

Even though Berto sux to me.. he's still gonna land the fight with Pacman next year.. mark my words... unless he absolutely stinks it up this weekend... But I know he's going to get the fight if May-Pacman doesn't happen.....
