Out of any fighter in any weight class, who could go up against roy and beat him 9/10 times. Honestly, excluding HW I can't name a single individual.

Edit: Who could beat RJJ 3/5 or more

    Seriously.. 9 out of 10 times? That's a stretch.

That's almost impossible for any elite fighter..

But these fighters can probably beat RJJ 7 out of 10 times.

    175
    Spinks
    Charles
    Foster

    5 out of 10 times
    Moorer

there's at least a half dozen more.

I think people forget just how shockingly good the 175 division was.

Spinks would be a nightmare for Roy... he was a 6'3 awkward as hell fighter with great boxing skills and brutal brutal HW Power in both hands.

He was also a deadly ruthless finisher.

Even Matt Saad Muhammad could probably beat RJJ 3 out of 10 times at 175.

175 was not his best weight.

At 168.. he is unbeatable though.

I'll admit the question was a bit blurry, but no HW. Tons of HW would beat rjj. Anything below HW I would bet that he could win a majority of his matchups meaning 2/3,3/5,4/7.... you catch my drift. I honestly feel blessed to have had the privileged to catch a majority of his fights live on television.

How? Break that down for me. Lets say he gets lucky once and wins. What would he do the the second time, third time and so forth to overcome RJJ?

I dont know what that means:huh, but Jones also avoided a prime Dariusz Michalczewski, Chris Eubank, Nigel Benn. For an all time great, he avoided a lot of the best fighters of that generation.

No one. Whoever thinks Spinks and Foster could beat Roy Jones is completely wrong.

Roy Jones is 3rd all time when it comes to H2H ability (after Leonard and Robinson)

I have to agree with that statement. His reflexes, athleticism and underrated knowledge of the game could carry him far against most if not all opponents he could face.

I'd pick Hagler, Monzon, and even a MW SRR to beat him 2/5 times each...
