We all know that Joe had to tone things down to try and lure people to a false sense of security as no-one at all would face him, when he was saying things like that, he was also trying to pen deal with Hopkins, Jones and all sorts of people. Actions speak louder than words:deal

:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl Because he looked so dominant on tape? What with all the slaps and British stoppages.

Actions? Like not taking tough fights after he said he didn't want tough fights?

Your bias clouds your logic my friend.

Who wanted to face him? Jones? why would he step up and fight people who weren't civil servants or cab drivers? Hopkins? he pulled out when he realised what he was getting into then waited years later till Joe was completely shot, Tarver? C level bum, Eubank, he did and we saw what happened, the next big thing went over and was ruined for good which ended any chance of prime Joe landing big fights. Thank god for Euro heart and people like Kessler. Jones had a typical American glass heart to match his glass jaw.

TROLL answer me this, why in BRITISH documentary they say best fighter in the world(ROY) and than they dont even mention Joe as possibility because he wasnt relevant on that level, and clearly stated he isnt pursuing Roy!!! Now **** off

Michael Nunn would've troubled him greatly, probably beaten him.

actually, he beat the guy who had the best chance (at 168) in, toney.
the reality is there are about 3 guys at LHW and about the same at MW that could beat him.
