    dec 1 msg..is 2 and a half months enough time for alvarez? bradley? guerrero lol? pac or may rematch? k9 not happening...sturm? chavez sergio winner?

    I'm thinking Cotto vs. Canelo is Cinco de Mayo 2013. A HUGE freakin' fight that makes a ton of cash.

    Cotto picks up a strap to bring to that dance and fights K9 or Trout in December, unless he gets the rematch with Manny (the fight I want to see).

    I heard the same thing, I hope its just rumors, but I guessing it'll probably be a stay busy fight with someone like k9 so he can pick up a strap while canelo fights someone like quintana on the undercard to get everything set for cinco de mayo next year

    Agreed. K9 is a fairly recognizable figure, has a belt, and is very beatable for Cotto, but easy to sell as a KO artist.

    This would be a decent payday on his way to a huge one against Canelo.

    Either Floyd or Canelo. I'm fine with either, and would be fine with Martinez down the line as well.
