so who do you guys think cotto is fighting next?

Pacman or Canelo would be cool. I think he'd kick the current Pac's ass and everyone would see Pacman is not the same anymore.

 

K9 is begging for a big fight so why not.

 

This for me.

I and a huge Cotto fan, but respect the rising Canelo's potential. If this fight happened, and Canelo wins, then I will be convinced Canelo is the real deal.

Canelo like all of the above, then he should move up to middle and smash Chavez Jnr.

Although i'd like to see to see him stay around the Welter division as i think he makes the division much more exciting and any of the top ten in a weight division either side of welter would make good fights with him involved. Always comes to fight never disappointing, one of my Favorite fighters. I'd really like to see Peterson move up and be taught a lesson by Cotto.

Hmm not bad... hadnt thought of that actually, doesnt sound too bad, the only problem I see here is that I dont think thats a ppv type fight and i seriously doubt Cotto is going to be put on anything other the ppv with the numbers he rakes in but if they can figure out a way around this then I would not mind watching at all... Kirkland probably is a PPV fight and winnable for Cotto, I think he might want to pick up a strap though and Bundrage is probably the sofest touch of all the 154lb belt holders. With Alvarez-Cotto 2013.

pacuiao

he will most likely fight another title holder at his weight like k9 or the other guy.
fight with lara or krikland dont make sense right now and i doubt golden boy let canelo have a crack at him. dont think a cotto vs mayweather 2 will happen either, i reckon marquez will fight pacuiao before cotto because of the catch weight issue. so im picking k9 or the other champ at that weight.

I agree with most people, Canelo would be a great fight, it has all the makings of a classic. Seasoned veteran vs. rising star. This fight will be significant IMO. If Canelo wins or even puts on a highly competitive fight he would be in a place to really make an impact in the sport, and enhance his career.
