Being that he saw his dream big payday with Hatton evaporate before his very eyes. I don't think that there is a winnable big payday out there for him. But, there are a couple of sure loser ones.
If a Floyd/Guerrero doesn't materialize then a Paulie vs Guerrero fight in Brooklyn sounds about right....
Hatton is a one-of-a-kind, gimmicky type of a winnable opportunity that he can't replicate, so I suppose that's why he still might be trying. But, not sure its saleable on a big scale now. As far as Maidana goes, I don't think the fight is that big of a payday.
Paulie isn't getting the huge pay-day now that Hatton's done - it's just not out there. He should go for a fan-friendly fighter who HBO will be interested in where he has a chance of winning and getting a decent cheque. Maidana sounds about right.
once brook beats alexander a fight in britain would be huge. Paulies becoming a big big name over here and i've got no doubt it would sell between 20-30,000 tickets EASY!
poor paul was absolutely heart broken, after the fight he said "when he fights me itll be different" paulie the politician, aint gonna happen mate
paulie vs guerrero paulie vs timmy but we not paulie loses wen he steps up . his weak hands cant carry him that far.
