I really cant wait for this, i think JDS is a lot faster, but i give carwin the power advantage. I think JDS will get the win by TKO 1st or second round. Bur don't count out Shane carwin all it takes is
    One from both.
I will be very surprised if it goes to decision I really doubt it will.it has a lbout a 5 percent chance to .

    Wat do you think?

Carwin has greater punching power than pretty much anyone out there. When he connects flush on people, they fall to pieces. But, he gasses out very easily as well. I expect JDS will fight smart, jabbing, going in and out, until he feels Carwin tiring, then he'll finish him brutally. It won't take long. But of course I wouldn't rule out a Carwin KO, not at all.

I think JDS will UD him.

Carwin hasn't got a great gas tank from what we've seen, but the fact that he's massive and will chase a guy down doesn't exactly fill you with the hope he can go 3. In that Brock fight, he tried waaay too hard to end the fight and pretty much fell over due to exhaustion in the second. So JDS could outbox him and take him to the ground, where I think it'll get interesting. We can see both men's ground game, and it's likely considering JDS surely won't stand with Carwin for the full fight.

Why wouldn't JDS stand with Carwin for the whole fight? His stand up is vastly superior.

JDS will knock him out. Carwin has the power to change this fight at any minute. But his striking is abysmal. Id expect Carwins game plan to consist of getting JDS to the mat and grinding him out though.

I wouldn't give the guy the chance to knock me out. If you're a fighter, you should take the opponents main strength away, something GSP does. I imagine JDS has a better ground game than Carwin too despite him being a qualified wrestler. I definitely agree that he has superior striking and Carwin's not very technical, but if I were him, I wouldn't risk it.

JDS will drop him and finish with GnP.

JDS is the better striker and unless he fights a really stupid fight he should be beating on Carwin until the ref stops it sometime in the second round.

Hmm looks like everyone is in agreement here, I would like to be the contrary but Carwin has not fought for a year, I see a 1st round KO or sub for JDS.

I think Dos Santos will counter Carwin rushing in and win by KO once he tires

I remember Carwin being rocked on multiple occasions against Gonzaga , what we found about Carwin against Lesnar is his stamina is questionable , what we know about Dos Santos is he is a stand up fighter !!!

Can Carwin secure a TD and pound him out ??? , can Dos Santos outwork Carwin on the feet with the cleaner technique ???

I fancy JDS by TKO late in the first !!!

    :good

Carwin went for the finish , its not like he exploded with a Cain Velasquez style flurry , he was gassed because he has poor stamina , JDS will be hoping for a 3 round fight which stays on the feet for the full 15 mins , that way he can be sure he wins the fight :deal

Different ground games , JDS a brown belt under the Noguerra bros and Carwin a high class college wrestler , its a different skill set but both effective . it comes down to who gets top position first !!!

I think JDS will take his time, eventually running outta time, and get the UD.
